The May/June 2009 issue of the Smith Mountain Laker is now in racks throughout the Smith Mountain Lake region. Read the PDF version online now. FAVORITE LAKER COVER CONTEST
The Smith Mountain Laker has produced 47 covers over the past eight years. For this contest, we’ve narrowed the list down to the 15 covers for which we received the most positive feedback. So, cast your vote (deadline is June 15) and you’ll be entered into a drawing for a PENTAX Optio E60 10.1-megapixel digital camera courtesy of Radio Shack at Westlake Corner. We’ll reveal the all-time cover favorite, as well as the camera winner, in the July/August issue. Vote now!
 

LOVELY LAKER LANDSCAPE CONTEST
The second Lovely Laker Landscape Contest is also underway! The winning entrant will receive $1,000 in credit to spend at Lakescapes Nursery. The contest is intended for amateur gardeners, but some exceptions apply. Please read the complete contest rules, restrictions and prize information. The winning landscape will be featured in the September/October issue of the magazine.
