Lakers Gamble For Charity On The Virginia Dare

     A great time to contribute to fundraisers is anytime, any season.
     One way to contribute to the area is to be a part of the Casino Cruise, held on July 19 aboard the Virginia Dare.  This event is not only fun and entertaining, but benefits the Toys for Tots program.  With the marinas as dealers, games to be offered include blackjack, roulette, and craps.
     For a $20 donation you will receive ten dollars worth of chips to play to your hearts content, and enjoy the light refreshments.  Individuals are allowed to purchase more chips for play.
     This past fall, a similar event cleared close to $1,000 for Toys for Tots that was also held courtesy of the Virginia Dare.  Ninety individuals participated in the last event, with hopes of more for the next round of play on July 19.  The Virginia Dare has scheduled another fundraising Casino Cruise for Oct. 18 also to benefit Toys for Tots.
     Not only do participants enjoy a scenic ride aboard the Dare, but they also will have the opportunity to socialize with others for a worthwhile cause.
