SML Founders Club Chapter of BNI

          August and September have been promising months for BNI raising business standards all around Smith Mountain Lake. Three chapters have now been officially formed and the Founders Chapter is now up to 25 members. The Founders Chapter also set a record of 47 referrals passed in one meeting on August 30th.
          BNI is a business and professional networking organization that allows one representative from each profession to join. The sole purpose of the group is to give its members more business. It’s based on the concept that what goes around comes around. If you give business to me, I’ll give business to you.
          BNI has seven chapters in Roanoke, eight in Lynchburg and many others in Salem, Danville, Rocky Mount and Blacksburg that make up the West Central Virginia Region. The SML Founders chapter holds the record for the fastest growing group in the Region’s history.
