Dear Fellow Laker,

It’s hard to believe a year has passed since our family decided to move back to Smith Mountain Lake. Shannon is nine months pregnant and we are expecting our first child, McKenna Kate, anytime. Just a few weeks ago Shannon was downsized from IBM after being a top sales performer with the company for 4 years. She holds a degree from Clemson University in Tourism Marketing & International Trade and will be assisting the GO Agency as an account executive after maternity leave.

We realize that talent and hard work alone don’t make for success. Sometimes it takes more. Like working for some very savvy clients. And working with some of the top advertising creatives in the business. We have had the good fortune to do both.  As a result, we have an enviable account roster, an impressive portfolio and numerous awards. But most importantly, we earn a living at something we truly believe in and fully enjoy.

Rachel Tolsma joins our team as a graphic artist from Liberty University in Lynchburg. She will be assisting in Ad design and Web Development and also has excellent proofing skills.

Josh continues to promote the GO Agency and the Laker throughout the region as VP of Advertising and has helped grow both businesses substantially. Be sure to visit our new web site at www.goagency.com and preview some of our latest work.

Sarah Speer also joins the GO team as a graphic artist from Liberty University and will help tremendously with the busy summer season.

Make sure you visit the new www.SmithMountainLaker.com web site and as always keep the Laker FREE and in your mailbox by supporting our advertisers.

       Thank you,
