Filled with compelling articles and stunning photography, this Laker is your source for summertime fun with our list of 90 activities to keep you and your family busy. You’ll also find a profile on Channel 10 News anchor (and Lake resident) Karen McNew, and features on the appeal of houseboats, building a garden fountain, local artist Robin Rowe, internet options at the Lake and this summer’s wakeboarding events. If that’s not enough, you’ll also find a 5-page spread on the top maintenance-free communities on the Lake, a feature on how to drive completely around SML, and the inside scoop on Joe’s Pizza and Italian Restaurant, a favorite among Lakers. There’s much, much more inside so pick up a copy at one of our more than 250 distribution points around the area!

Hey...is the babe on the cover the same one we enjoyed the back of on the cover of the last issue?
Coffee Girl - Too Much Skin IP:75.109.82.191 | 2007-05-12 21:35:38
I personally thought the cover showed too much skin for my taste. What is this - Playboy?
Jamie Smigo - Disagree IP:208.180.157.68 | 2007-05-14 06:34:19
I'm going to have to disagree With Coffee Girl, you can see a lot more skin on any beach in America, and since this is the summer issue, and the magazine is named after a lake, having a cover like this is to be expected. On the current cover of Cosmopolitan(http://magazines.ivillage.com/cosmopolitan/subscribe/issue)
You have a girl in what looks to be a negligee with headings like "10 Things Guys Crave in Bed" and "How to Climax together".
Well that makes it right then - re: Disagree IP:64.203.128.166 | 2007-05-17 18:10:40

Well, if Cosmo's covers are smutty, then it certainly must be ok for Smith Mountain Laker to be a "little bit" smutty then.

FYI,

Westlake Pointe Townhomes are also maintenance free. The HOA takes care of all outside maintenance. 46 townhomes on Cambridge Court near The Westlake Golf and Country Club.
