Docks of Distinction Not for everyone, but those who have ‘em, love ‘em By Jerry Hale
hat is it about some docks that makes passing boaters slow down, look twice, and say, “Wow, that’s nice!”? Sure, size matters. Most of us, however, don’t have the shoreline or resources for one of those mongo docks with three slips, full kitchen, eating space and a small dance floor. But it’s not “Game-Over” distinctive dock-wise. In this issue, we’ll show you some nifty dock solutions we’ve spotted while traveling about the Lake. Look for one or two ideas that might fit your own dock decorating or functionality needs. Modify them to fit…and voila!, your dock becomes that much more pleasant or practical.
